HASA (Home and School Association) is the parent-teacher organization at Christ the King School. It serves as a liaison between the school, home, and parish communities to enhance the school experiences of Christ the King students. There are a wide range of HASA events and committees going on throughout the year.
These events are all planned and run by HASA volunteers. These volunteers are Christ the King School parents who generously give their time to make these events a success. Without such volunteers, the extra events which our children currently enjoy and the committees which help school families would not be possible.
HASA dues collected at the beginning of the school year are used to partially fund the many events run by HASA. A large portion of HASA events are not funded by the dues. The remainder is supplied through donations from Christ the King parents who volunteer in this capacity.
Christ the King HASA holds meetings at 7:00pm in the computer lab on the second Monday of the month in September, November, January, and March, and everyone is always welcome. Attendance at these meetings is a great opportunity to keep up to date on school issues, meet other Christ the King parents, and learn about areas where help is needed. It is also a time when parents’ concerns can be voiced and ideas shared for school and event improvement.
