All Catholic Schools participate in the “You Can Lend a Hand” Burger King coupon book fundraiser. On page 9 of the Parent/Student Handbook is the information regarding Diocesan Policy 2120 about fundraising.
All CKS families (K-8) are required to sell/purchase a minimum number of books (10 per student or 25 per family for a family of 3 or more). Parents can opt not to receive the books but instead make a donation of $25/1 child, $50/2 children or $60/3+ children. These amounts reflect the profit the school makes on the sale of the coupon books and are also 100% tax deductable.
If you do not wish to receive the books and only make a donation please contact the front office for an envelope and return it with your check/cash by January 30, 2017. If we do not hear from you by January 30th, the books will be sent home with your child on February 3, 2017. You may download the buy-out form HERE.
At a later date, we will send out more information regarding a JEANS DAY for selling extra Burger King books.
