Today, students will be bring home your first look at the “Think-Tac-Toe.” It is a double sided paper: one side is spelling & the other side is vocabulary. I have identified the 3 spelling activities and dates for their assignment over the next two weeks. (Three squares have been covered up with the list of words to use for the week ~ this will not always be the case.) On the vocabulary side, I have only assigned 2 activities: make flashcards and practice them. Students will be given credit for these two activities by your signature on the “Parent signature:___” line. Do not turn in the flashcards but DO turn in the “Think-Tac-Toe” by Friday, Sept. 7 with assigned activities completed. You do not need to do any of the “X” activities.
Vocabulary testing: students will be taking a vocabulary quiz through an app called SeeSaw. You will have access to your child’s SeeSaw account so that you can witness their learning first hand. (Access link coming soon)
Students will also bring home the word list (on green paper) for Unit 1 that I mentioned at the parent night. KEEP THIS PAPER so you always have the current week’s words.
